The Kaduna Zonal of the EFCC has Procured the conviction of a Money counterfeiter Hussaini Baba at the Federal High Court Kaduna. He was detained in a case of currency counterfeiting to the tune of one hundred and eighty-three thousand, five hundred Naira.ency

Upon his arraignment on the 26th October, 2017 Hussaini Baba had pleaded not guilty to the one count complaint against him and the case was adjourned to the 15th, November, 2017 for the commencement of trial.

In the course of court proceedings yesterday, prosecuting counsel Sa'ad Hannafi Sa'ad presented two witnesses however, the accused's counsel informed Justice Shuaibu that after due diligence that the accused intended to change his plea to that of accountable. The accused was eventually sentenced to 12 weeks in prison without option of fine and the judge ordered that the fake money be ruined from the EFCC.
