Controversial Nigerian singer whose 3 friends died recently after consuming excessive alcohol has broken down in tears, after he won the MTV EMA Best African Artiste for year 2017.

The father of two with 2 babymamas has joined the likes of  2Baba and D’banj as African artistes to win Best African Act awards at the BET Awards and MTV #EMAs.

The singer Who's now in Angola for a concert came forward of the rigid competition comprising of Wizkid and Nasty C in Addition to South Africa's Babes Wodumo, Angola's C4 Pedro and Kenya's Nyashinksi.

Davido who just released a brand new songs, titled FIA, dedicated the award to his mommy, he explained: "I'M ON FiAAAAAAA!! � � Thank you everybody. #30BG"
