The National Communications Authority (NCA) announced friday that according to some regulatory violations, a host of radio stations across the country would be facing some sanctions.

In a decision affecting over 100 stations, 97 of them have been fined, whilst another 34 have had their permits fully revoked.

The sanctions come because these stations have violated portions of the Electronic Communications Act (ECA). The authority ferreted out the Offending stations after conducting a nationwide spectrum Audit.
