One of Nigeria's finest female singer, Tiwa Savage has been appointed by the BBC as one of the 100 most inspirational and innovative women of 2017.

According to BBC, Tiwa Savage is an intergral member of the Afrobeats scene and intends to open a music college.

Also on the list is Donation Jumo, a Zimbabwean activist who supports victims of revenge porn, providing them counseling and legal information.

British-Nigerian small business brain Anne-Marie Imafidon also makes the record for her role in supporting girls to enter careers in science, engineering, technology and mathematics (STEM).
