Mrs Imo Isemin who was the wife of first civilian governor of Akwa Ibom State, Akpan Isemin,  has died. According to her family members, the former first lady took ill on Tuesday September 19th and had been taken into a private hospital in the country in which she died from an undisclosed ailment.

Her husband, Mr. Isemin died in 2009, 16 years after leaving office as governor as a result of army coup in Nigeria that attracted General Sani Abacha, into power.

May her soul rest in peace.
