One of Nigeria's playwright, poet and actor, Adebayo Faleti who died some weeks ago has been laid to rest in his village, in Agboye, Oyo State on Friday, September 8, 2017.

The burial was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life, personalities includes the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, a retired Archbishop of the Methodist Church, Rt. Rev. Ayo Ladigbolu, Nollywood actors, government officials and theatre practitioners.

After founding his own theater group, Faleti went back to school where he earn a diploma in the University of Senegal and a degree from the University of Ibadan.



He also had a lengthy television career on the older Western Nigeria Television (now NTA) and the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State.

He would be remembered for his aesthetics works like Saworoide and Thunderbolt.

Rest in peace baba Faleti.
