American country music singer,Don williams has died after a brief illness, the legendary songwriter who has carved a niche for himself in the country music world has released many hit songs in the industry.

The passing away of this mythical singer who's considered among the most important and certainly most distinctive voices in country music history, comes two years later he officially retired in music.

Williams' is best known because of his many hit tracks, including:'Tulsa Time', 'Back in My Younger Days', ' 'You Are My very best Friend', ' 'Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good', and 'A Few Broken Hearts Never Mend' among many more.

The Texas born is survived by his spouse Joy Bucher along with his two kids, Gary Williams and Tim Williams.
