South African Duo Hit 17 Million Views On YouTube For New Song by atoluwash(m) : 9:03 am On Aug 22, 2017

The South African Duo ‘No Method’ released their lyrical music video in April 2017 and have since accumulated over 17 million views on YouTube.

The ‘No Method’ duo are made up by DJ Sam World and Claire Rose from Cape Town. The pair teamed up after Claire had written a song. She was looking for a producer and contacted him via Facebook in the hopes he could help her.

The duo started working together and released their first song “Let Me Go’. They were heavily influenced by Middle Eastern sounds. They didn’t think it would do well with a South African audience but are completely blown away by the fact that it has hit so many views.

‘Let Me Go’ is number one on Sh’Zaam in Turkey and some of their biggest fan base comes from other countries. The duo have recently set off on tour, their first stop is Doha, the capital of Qatar.

Their single is available on iTunes but they don’t plan on working on an album anytime soon. This song was the first one they ever released and it exploded, they are still on the path of figuring out the rest.

The ‘Let Me Go’ music video gives some breathtaking looks at Cape Town from above. The song is also really catchy and has a great summer vibe to it. Watch it below.
