Nigerian popular celebrity Denrele Edun whose unique lifestyle shot him to limelight has revealed why his marriage plans didn't work out in a new interview.

In this interview,the crossdresser unveiled why his marriage to his ex, Yvonne didn't work out disclosing that he was under pressure to change from his lifestyle which she found as wierd.

That was the condition given to him but he has instead given her up for his happiness stating that the same wierd life is the source of his daily bread and fame adding that he was broke when he was still "normal" but this his seemingly abnormal way of life has actually took him to where he is today.

The chat got more interesting as Denrele talked about how he was barnished from going to church a certain time if he didn't change his ways and how that his lifestyle caused him so much embarrassment.

“When I didn’t have a car, conductors would push me out of the buses and they would shout about a mad man on the loose when I was in Unilag people used to stone me with pure water.I remember going home to cry "He said.

Denrele currently has won 16 awards and over 30 nominations in his career.As a television host, his work has been recognized with awards including The Best TV Personality at the NEAs in NewYork 2011,Dynamix Award for Best Youth TV Personality 2006/2007/2008, The Future Award for Best Producer 2007.
